Embroidered patches
in Bahrain,
any backing.

A patch is embroidery you can move: stitched on twill with a clean border, then sewn, ironed or hooked onto whatever it needs to live on. We make embroidered patches in Bahrain for uniforms, security and tactical teams, sports clubs, schools, motorsport and car clubs, caps, jackets, bags and merch drops — from a single badge to a few thousand.

What it is

Twill, thread, a border and a backing.

A patch starts like any embroidery: your logo is digitized into a stitch file. It is then embroidered onto a polyester twill base — not the garment — with a stabiliser behind it, and finished with a border. A merrowed border is the classic rolled, overlocked edge you see on uniform badges and works on round, oval, square and shield shapes; a satin-stitch border is embroidered as part of the design and cut out to follow any outline, so die-cut shapes, letters and mascots are possible. Coverage can be 100 percent embroidered — thread edge to edge — or 50 to 75 percent with the twill showing as the background colour, which is lighter and cheaper.

Backings decide how the patch is used. Sew-on has no backing and is the most permanent — stitched around the edge onto a jacket, cap or bag. Iron-on has a heat-seal adhesive film that bonds to cotton and polyester with a heat press, right for merch and casual wear; on heavy use we still recommend a few stitches. Hook-and-loop — Velcro — has the hook side on the patch and a loop pad that is sewn to the garment, so name tapes, rank and unit patches, delivery and security badges can be swapped between shirts. We supply the loop pads too.

Patches solve the embroidery problems that garments can't: leather and PU, helmets and hard hats, waterproof shells that shouldn't be perforated, bags with no flat panel, and anything you want to brand in small numbers without committing the garment. They are also how a hundred-piece uniform order carries ten different unit or branch names cheaply. Caps, jackets and bags take patches as happily as direct embroidery; we'll tell you which looks better on the mockup. The stitch mechanics are in the machine embroidery guide.

When to choose it

Patches, by who orders them

01

Uniforms & security

Company badges, name tapes, rank and unit patches on hook-and-loop so shirts stay interchangeable. Reorders on file.

02

Clubs, teams & schools

Crests for blazers, kit and bags, event and tournament badges, achievement patches. Merrowed border, sew-on or iron-on.

03

Motorsport & car clubs

Racing suits, team shirts, caps and jackets — a sharp badge in team colours, sew-on or Velcro for suits. Bahrain's circuit crowd knows the look.

Merch

Patches as the product

Collectible patches for brands and creators: die-cut shapes, satin borders, sold loose or ironed onto caps and jackets.

Caps & bags

Patch on a cap

A patch on the front of a trucker or on a bag's pocket has a raised, workwear look that flat embroidery doesn't. Stitched on, or supplied loose.

Photographs

Thread can't do a photograph, and very fine lines don't survive at patch sizes. Simplify the mark, or use a printed label instead — we'll say so.

Patch onto

Caps and hoodies from stock

Patches are made to your size and shape. If you want them already on something, trucker caps, dad hats and heavyweight hoodies are in stock in Bahrain — every colour in the catalog.

Pricing

What it costs, honestly

Patches are quoted per job rather than from a list, because size, coverage, border and backing change the price more than anything else. Send the size, shape, quantity and backing on WhatsApp and you'll have a fixed quote the same working day.

Questions

Answered before you ask

How much do embroidered patches cost in Bahrain?

Patches are quoted per job on size, embroidery coverage, border type, backing and quantity, with a one-time digitizing fee of BHD 3.000–5.000 for a new logo. The per-patch price falls quickly with quantity. Send the size, shape and number for a fixed quote the same working day.

What is the difference between a merrowed and a satin border?

A merrowed border is a rolled, overlocked edge sewn around the patch after embroidery — the classic uniform badge look, for simple shapes like circles, ovals, squares and shields. A satin border is embroidered as part of the design and the patch is cut to follow it, so any outline is possible, including letters and mascots.

Sew-on, iron-on or Velcro — which backing should I choose?

Sew-on for anything permanent and hard-wearing: jackets, caps, bags, kit. Iron-on heat-seal for merch and casual wear on cotton and polyester, ideally with a few securing stitches. Hook-and-loop (Velcro) where patches must be swapped between garments: name tapes, rank, unit and company patches on uniforms. We supply the loop pads too.

What sizes can you make?

From about 3 cm name tapes and small logos up to jacket-back patches of 25 cm or more. Common sizes are 6–8 cm for a chest or cap badge and 10–12 cm for a sleeve or bag patch.

Is there a minimum order for patches?

No. One patch is possible, though the digitizing and setup mean ten cost little more than one.

Can you attach the patches for us?

Yes — sewn onto caps, jackets, bags or uniforms you supply, or onto caps and hoodies from our catalog, and hook-and-loop pads sewn onto garments.

Can patches go on leather, helmets or waterproof jackets?

That is what they're for. Leather and PU jackets, hard hats and helmets, rain shells whose membrane shouldn't be perforated, and bags with no flat panel all take a patch where direct embroidery is impossible or unwise.

How long do patches take?

Typically 3–5 working days after the mockup is approved; large runs are scheduled to your date and reorders are faster because the file is on record.
